The 10-day Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek begins with your arrival in Pokhara, followed by a scenic drive to Nayapul and a gentle trek to Tikhedhunga through riverside paths and lush forests. On Day 2, you climb over 3,000 stone steps to reach the picturesque village of Ghorepani, offering your first panoramic mountain views. An early morning hike on Day 3 takes you to Poon Hill for a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, followed by a descent and forest trail to Tadapani. The journey continues through dense forests and traditional Gurung villages to Chhomrong, the last major settlement before the base camp. From there, the trail descends to Chhomrong Khola and climbs through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Bamboo, offering peaceful forest stays and increasing mountain views.
The higher alpine section starts from Bamboo to Deurali, passing rivers, caves, and breathtaking scenery. On Day 7, the highlight of the trek is reaching Annapurna Base Camp via Machapuchare Base Camp, where trekkers are rewarded with incredible 360° views of the snowcapped peaks. After witnessing a magical sunrise at ABC, you descend back through familiar trails to Bamboo, then onward to Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in natural hot springs beside the Modi River. The trek ends with a short hike back to Nayapul and a drive to Pokhara, where you celebrate the successful completion of this unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
